About Me

A little about Fenella Ashworth

Hello! Thanks so much for visiting this site and for your interest in my stories.

I live in the South of England and, like many of you I’m sure, have a busy life where I am many things to many people; mother, daughter, wife, friend, neighbour and part-time employee to name a few.  Last but certainly not least, I am also a writer of erotic fiction which I publish under my pen name of Fenella Ashworth.

I have been involved with the published word all of my adult life, initially writing articles for a range of magazines such as ‘Heritage’ and ‘The Lady’ in my twenties, whilst holding down a (very dull!) full time job in I.T.  I have always had an interest in writing erotic fiction but only took the big step of publishing my work in 2017.  Upon doing so, I was truly thrilled to receive really positive, constructive feedback.  I haven’t looked back since.

Currently, I have thirteen erotic fiction books published (plus various compilations), as well as one romance novel under the pen name Sarah Fennel.  These are available in both ebook and paperback format.  All books are available for purchase on Amazon and free to those of your with Kindle Unlimited.  I also publish a selection of excerpts on various free sites, such as Literotica, Lush Stories, XHamster, Booksie and Booksiesilk.  I find that a good deal of the feedback I receive thanks me for providing such a high quality of erotic fiction for women, but actually, a significant proportion of my readership are men 🙂  Thanks to the encouragement provided by one such reader, I am now also offering commissions; an aspect which has continued to grow since I first introduced it.

I write whenever time allows me to, although with a toddler to care for, such precious hours are often few and far between.  I personally find that I can only write when I have a very clear head which contains no other ‘noise’.  If I’m worrying about something happening at work, or worried about a friend, then my creative brain becomes suppressed.

Much of the inspiration for my stories appears during peaceful early morning walks with my dog; the very calmest part of the day for me.  As a result, I always take a notebook and pen out with me and spend most of the time scribbling down ideas and sections of dialogue, giggling at some of the scenarios my imagination comes up with and falling into rabbit holes because I’m not concentrating on where I’m going!  The ideas are then transferred back to my laptop later in the day and crafted into something that I hope you will enjoy reading.

Thank you for visiting this website and may I encourage you to sign up to my newsletter. I won’t bombard you with emails and, amongst other things, you will automatically be entered into a free draw each month, to win a free copy of one of my ebooks.
