I was too keen and had already bought it and read it – thank you! Loved it. I’m now re reading book 1. Had you actually written this first or had the ideas clearly in your mind? It is a perfect prequel!

I definitely recommend book 7 to all readers!

I’m a bit worried about book 8 as it seems to have been teased that don’t Kimberley will be nice again – I can’t forgive her.

  Thanks so much for your comment and I’m so pleased you enjoyed the prequel. I started writing Book 1 of the DCL Series over 20 years ago, so I’ve had the vague back story of these four characters rattling around in my head for a long time. However, before I put pen to paper (or fingers to keys) for the prequel (Book 7), I trawled through the contents of books 1 to 6, copy and pasting relevant sections into the prequel manuscript, just to ensure I stuck to the facts I’d already outlined in the other books. As a rule, I’m a stickler for details!
  
  Re book 8, nothing is set in stone yet as I haven’t started writing it, but I’m pretty sure I can’t forgive Kimberley either 🙂
