With more than a passing interest in Geography, I’m always fascinated to understand where visitors to my website are located.  The map below shows the location of internet users who have visited my website in the past 6 months.

The top four countries (USA, UK, Australia and Canada) don’t come as any great surprise, because these correspond with the markets in which the majority of my books are sold.  However Finland was a pleasant surprise!

Although I couldn’t include them all in a single screenshot, a total of 73 countries were listed on my screen.  Some of the unexpected countries include Nepal, Ecuador, Trinidad & Tobago, Ghana and Mauritius.

Depending on who you believe, there are approximately 195 countries in the world (how can they not agree how many there are?!), which means I’ve had website hits from well over a third of all countries in the world – exciting!
