In Spring 2020, I stepped away from my “real job” (which I hate!) to see if I can make it as a full-time author (which I love!). I’ve given myself a specific target to meet, by 2021. If I don’t achieve it, I’ll return to my previous employment, tail between my legs, and my writing will take a back seat.
